MAGMA gives lecture in Argentina

"Development of models with dimensional precision in steel parts. Stress and deformation considerations." Was the theme of the lecture given by Carlos Gomes de Oliveira, Key Account Manager at MAGMA and Master in Materials Science and Engineering, during the 4th Day about Foundry Technologies.

The event took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 7 and 8 and brought together national and international experts to talk about the technical aspects of the foundry process and the technologies involved in it. The 4th Day on Foundry Technologies was held by the Casting department of Argentina's INTI (National Institute of Industrial Technology).

INTI's main objective with the event was to promote a space for exchange and exchange of experiences related to the problems of the foundry process, as well as advances in the area and dissemination of knowledge for the development of the sector.

In two days of lectures, the event featured in its programming grid the participation of renowned professionals from the sector and companies and institutions such as Foseco, ADIMRA, Inductotherm, FUCHS, Metallon, Acerias 4C, Global Met, Globe Metale, Metalprod, Baker Hughes, Elkem, KIMIA3, H Lertora, Colosio, of course, from MAGMA and INTI.

According to Carlos Gomes de Oliveira, the event was an opportunity to exchange experiences regarding production problems, as well as the development of research and the implementation of good practices that contribute to the development of the sector.
