The Webinar “The importance of the connection between the processes of a foundry”, took place on the morning of last Thursday, May 28th and had more than 100 participants from 60 foundries. The event was held by MAGMA Engenharia do Brasil in partnership with Euromac, Inductotherm and Elkem. The main objective of the event, as in all events produced by MAGMA through MAGMAacademy, is to spread knowledge that adds value to customers, partners and employees linked to the foundry sector.
In the webinar, participants were able to follow the challenges faced by Epaminondas, from Fundição Feliz, a fictional character, but with situations presented and experienced by real customers and companies. Epaminondas explored in a playful, theoretical and practical way challenges that its foundry faced to adapt to the market and the demands of the sector, always maintaining excellence.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of new technologies and new concepts that contribute to the growth of companies, ensuring high productivity with lower cost and high quality in the finished products and processes. Among the lectures, the following topics were addressed: “Solutions for the correct design of a fusion system”, Inductotherm Group Brasil, “Technological differentials applied in molding lines with green sand”, Euromac Latin America, “Best practices for metal treatments ”, Elkem and Simulation of foundry, metallic yield, scrap and the costs involved”, MAGMA Engenharia do Brasil.
